  • My family regularly visit here and my elderly parents spend a lot of time here it’s a popular spot with a great community feel with fun activities events and just great for a drink or lunch by the sea. It’s well looked after. The staff seem nice I think it would be a shame to close and a real loss to the community.

  • We always come to SOBO Beach with our grandchildren as it feels much safer than Bournemouth. We also visit on our own as it offers such good facilities and is good for my mental wellbeing.

  • Its a great place and I visit each time I am down in Bournemouth. More importantly my son is part of the meet and walk on a Sunday for Mens Health. This place and the community involved is a great support mechanism, that will never be measured by money. Let's remove red tape to help more people and communities, rather than breaking these communities down.

  • I walk my dog to sobo beach every morning. Please keep it as it is. We don’t want a corporate structure. The likes of Rockwater etc do not have the same vibe.

  • I have coffee in mornings and also love Sunday afternoons there as do my son and daughter when they come down which is normally weekly in the summer . Perfect also when going for dog walks having a break and a catch up with friends and family plus the kids love the icecream shack there which is better than the Bcp ones

  • It’s a very welcoming place to take the family when we’re at the beach year round. Would be very upset to see it go. It’s the only good place we have on the beach in our area. Awarding this site to another operator is madness, would be a massive mistake and absolutely reek of brown envelopes.
