I have a beach hut near by and use it for socialising and food and drink. It gives an all round lively atmosphere and community feel and we would be very sad to lose it!!

It's the heart of the community it's an affordable, fun, family venue that the whole family can enjoy. Sobo beach has managed to bring people together as a community in a way that hasn't been there before. Local people are not interested in fancy venues with high profit margins, we want honest local community ventures like sobo beach being supported and backed by our local authorities.

Its a fantastic place to visit with friends, family, dates, with dogs for food or drink - hot or cold. It offers everything and they are so friendly.

Very regular customer. A very SAFE place to go for everyone of all ages, families, groups, friends Sobo brings so much happiness to so many locals and further afield. Helping the community with gatherings, Littler picks, yoga, amongst other clubs and events, just so positive for the community. The current owners have everything right. Why change that? Make decisions based on the positive voices. Please Keep the current owners rather than a multi national faceless entity!

It’s just the perfect space for any occasion. I’ve been to organised events, met with family and friends on Christmas Day for the dip or just a casual weekend for a coffee or beer. It’s been such a great addition to Southbourne beach.

SOBO offers something unlike anywhere else, we regularly travel 10 miles to grab a coffee or breakfast and we also enjoy the silent yoga throughout the summer. SOBO's personality has created a community unlike any other and it provides an all year round venue for locals, we love it!
