It’s the place I bring any of my friends when they visit Bournemouth, it epitomises living near the sea, having a community, friendly faces & staff. It is a hugely important social hub. I also walk my dog there at least twice a week and have a coffee & pastry, then visit at the weekend with my girlfriend as well.

It’s a place of comfort, community spirit be it summer or winter. It’s a place where you can enjoy a relaxed vibe that everyone can enjoy. Why would any council want to remove a well established community area that is visited by all and supports all local businesses.

Grew up here. Love coming back. Great for kids and seeing grandparents too. A rare place that seems to meet the needs of lots of people in the community, both locals and visitors.

My children and I visit a lot, we do children’s courses, swim, go to local exercise classes, bring our friends and family. A period of no service would be such a huge loss.

I walk here regularly and love the community vibe. It's a place where people come together to chat, socialise, meet up and enjoy the great food and drinks menu. It belongs on Southbourne beach, has a great clientele. The staff are friendly and always smiling. The food and drinks menu is great with something for every taste. It would be a great loss to lose this venue which is well established and so popular. Why change something that works so well for all. People connect here.
